The Acceleration Program Future-proof Building (ATB) is a unique opportunity for startups active in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Are you innovating in the field of biobased and/or circular construction or data-driven management and maintenance of infrastructure? Then don't miss this program!

What does the program offer

Currently, 2 ATB programs are offered. It”Get Ready to Market” program was created for startups that are entering the market.

It”Get Ready to Scale” program is for startups that are already active on the market with substantial turnover and want to go towards the scale-up phase in the short term.

The acceleration program consists of 5 parts:

  1. A thorough company scan carried out by the expert team to identify your key development goals.
  2. A custom-made development plan including the steps you can take to achieve your company's goals.
  3. six master classes about topics related to the growth of young innovative companies. Think of finding your “earlyvangelist”, customer commitment or product-market fit.
  4. Personal guidance in the form of biweekly progress discussions with a venture partner/supervisor, aimed at achieving set goals.
  5. Access to experts to address specific challenges in your organization that are hampering the growth of your company.

Who is the program for

The Future-proof Building Acceleration Program is intended for startups that are driving the construction transition in the Netherlands through innovation in biobased/circular construction or data-driven management and maintenance of infrastructure.

Practical information

The third edition of the ATB- Get Ready to Market will start on October 1. The sessions take place at:

  • Session 1: October 1 (Kickoff)
  • Session 2: October 22 (Customer Interviews)
  • Session 3: November 12 (Customer Issue)
  • Session 4: November 26 (Problem Solution fit)
  • Session 5: December 17 (Problem Solution fit/Customer Commitment)
  • Session 6: January 15 (Graduation Day)

The dates for the Get Ready to Scale program will be announced in the autumn.

Costs: Participation is free of charge, but a minimum of 0.5 FTE per company is expected during the ten weeks that the program runs.

The program is organized by the regional development companies NOM, ROM InWest, Horizon Flevoland and ROM Utrecht Region, and is part of the National Growth Fund Future-proof Living Environment. Here, around 150 organizations work together on the future of Dutch construction and infrastructure. The results of the program are shared with them.
